When was the last time you say “iloveyou” ?

IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE, TELL THEM RIGHT AWAY!!  Seize the day, never have regrets!

I know sometimes, it’s hard for us to tell someone that we love them! It’s so easy to say, “there’s no need to say it, he already knows it thru my actions!”  Others may even say,” it’s so corny”!

Honestly my friend, I myself also felt the same. I felt it was so awkward to say these words. I will just show it by being concern, caring and all! But never to say these three words! Maybe because I was not brought up to be like one! To say what I feel! Though, I believe that my parents love each other as they stayed as couple for more than thirty six (36) years, till my father died. I never even saw them telling sweet nothings to each other.

But then again, the saddest time happens! My father died from heart attack!  So sudden that he was not able to reach the hospital alive!  I was the one who first saw his lifeless body at the hospital morgue!  And, would you believe?  It was only then, when my father died, that I was able to tell him…that I love him! But how could he be able to hear it? When he’s already gone? It was a big regret on my part! Had I know that he would be gone so soon…I would tell him, how much i love him! Had I know…but how would anyone know? That the person beside you today, may not be there tomorrow?

Since then, I learned a big lesson! I often tell my mother I love her! Tell her how important she is! That I really care for her!  Because, now I know it is important that we must appreciate the person who loves us! To learn to say that we love them! To say how much we care! Though we might say that we already showed it, it makes a difference if we also say it!

So go ahead…tell them!! Tell them how much you love them!! For you never know if you will still have the time to tell these words tomorrow! And even if you might be able to say it still, you never know if they could hear it anymore!

Breaktime !!!

TIME IS GOLD…I believe everyone is familiar with this saying, who says not? Everyone is busy, doing their task!  At home or in their workplace.

Nowadays, in this fast phased environment, everybody seems to be in a rat race! Getting an extra job aside from the regular eight hours ! Focusing on what to do next! Doing multi task!  “Do it as if you’re going to die tomorrow” as one of my professor says, though I am not familiar who is the originator of this motto. But, have you ever thought about of taking a breather? Smelling the roses? Did you ever watch the sunrise and appreciate the children’s laughter? Did you ever notice the newly built house in your neighborhood? The newly developed road in your street? Or even the newly hired fresh graduate in your office?? Sigh…My dear friend, though time is gold, why not take a breath for a moment? To appreciate everything around us! After all, this will just take a moment!! As a matter of fact, amidst all the pressures and stress  we encounter in our daily life, we still  deserve a break!!! 

Pagkaraan ni “ondoy”..Kumusta ka na Kabayan?

Sa wakas..nakalabas na si “ondoy” . Ngunit, sa paglagpas niya, kumusta ka na kabayan? Alam ko ang iyong nararamdaman at nakita ko din ang iyong pinagdaanan. Hind birong trahedya ang sa ngayon ay ating dinaranas! Nawalan ng tahanan, nawalan ng kagamitan at kabuhayan, at ang pinakamasakit sa lahat ay mawalan ng mahal sa buhay! Likas sa ating mga Pilipino ang maging matibay sa gitna ng mga unos ng buhay. Maraming kalamidad na tayong dinaanan. Lumubog ang barko, pumutok si pinatubo, gumuho ang lupa sa gilid ng bundok at sunod sunod na bagyong nagwasak ng ating mga tahanan at kabuhayan. Sa dami ng ating mga pinagdaanan, isa ito sa pinakamatindi na ating  naranasan.

Ngunit nakikita ko kabayan, nakakangiti pa din tayo! Mayroon pang pag asang sa atin ay nababanaagan! Nakakakaway sa mga kamera sa gitna ng pagbabalita. Nakakabati  at masayang nananawagan! At ito’y pinagtatakahan at kinabibiliban sa atin maging sa ibang bayan ! Ito ba ay dahil, sa dami ng mga pagsubok na din na ating pinagdaanan? Naging matibay at matatag na tayong harapin ang buhay. Ngunit sa aking palagay ay  may isang bagay na sekreto na ating taglay!  Iyon ay ang Pananampalataya sa Dakilang Tagapagligtas! Na tayong mga Pilipino ay nananalig na lahat ng bagay ay lumilipas at malalampasan din! Sa tulong at pagmamahal ng Diyos na Lumikha at Nagmamahal sa atin!

Mahilig ka bang mag videoke?

Tayo talagang mga pinoy, mahilig kumanta! Hindi lang naging hilig, bisyo pa yata eh! Lahat ng kanto, lahat ng bahay kapag nagtipon tipon, sa gitna ng inuman, videoke  pa rin ang pagkakaguluhan!

Kesehodang nasa tonong propesyonal o tamang kanta lang basta tumugtog ang pamilyar at popular na kanta ng taon, bibirit at bibirit pa din! 

Mayroon akong kapitbahay, umpisa ng flag ceremony sa umaga dito sa school na malapit sa amin, hanggang umabot na sa flag retreat, lalagpas pa siya ng overtime ng  school janitor…non stop ang birit niya! kesehodang nasa tiyempo or hindi niya alam ang kanta, hirit pa din siya! Minsan, gusto ko na nga batuhin eh !! Paano naman, sa sobrang lakas ng sound system (6 ba ba naman ang speaker) sus, buong kalye, dinig siya! Anong panama ng pabasa pag kwaresma!!  haayyy!! 

Ilang beses na nga pina baranggay ng isa naming kapitbahay, titigil lang ng ilang araw, pero hahataw ulit! Kung pwede lang umasam na maubos ang boses niya ..hehehehe 

Siguro nga, ito yung bisyo nating mga pinoy na hindi na mapipigil pa. Nakakaperwisyo man kung minsan, pero nakakatuwa din! Nagpapakita lang  na tayong mga pinoy ay mahilig sa sining ng pag awit. At isa itong kasiyahan ng ating puso  na kahit sino ay walang makapipigil!
